Web Fine Arts is the web portfolio of Brett Baker, an artist & web designer based in Durham, North Carolina. His professional experience includes web design, XHTML, CSS, Javascript implementation, and PHP/MySQL. He specializes in developing websites with the open source content management system Drupal.  Brett is currently employed as the Web Developer for Bronto Software.

Brett Baker began working in the web industry in 1995 as a design intern at Loci.com, a web magazine targeting the college market. A joint venture between Barnes & Noble, Boston University, and Reach Media, Loci was an early leader in the web content market. Brett became Loci's Design Director and then Creative Director in 1996 - all while studying painting.

In late 1997 Brett left Loci to devote himself full time to painting in Boston University's Graduate Painting Program. Upon graduation Brett became and Adjunct Lecturer of Drawing at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a position he held for two years.

Brett returned to the web industry as a freelance consultant in 2004. In 2007 he became the Web Manager for the Children's Aid Society of New York.  While designing and building websites Brett maintains an active career as an artist. His work has won numerous awards.
